Almond Butter Recipes

Almond butter makes a great Peanut Butter substitute in any recipes! Whether you're looking for healthier options or different variety in taste, here are some recipes you can try at home!

Almond Butter Energy Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Market Basket raw almonds
  • 10 pitted Medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup Market Basket almond butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor.
  2. Process all ingredients until a sticky dough forms. You should be able to pinch it together easily with your hands. If the dough is not sticky enough to roll into balls, then add an extra dash of maple syrup, almond butter, or Medjool dates to make the consistency a bit thicker.
  3. When the dough reaches desired consistency, roll the dough into balls, or use an ice cream scoop to get the same size for each ball. Enjoy!!
  4. To save the energy balls for later, store them in a sealed container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to a week. You can also store them in a freezer for up to 2-3 months.

Almond Butter Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp Market Basket almond butter
  • 1-2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • Topping of choice (granola, fruit, nuts, etc)

Instructions:

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a small pot.
  2. Transfer the pot to a stovetop and cook over medium-high heat. Keep an eye on the oatmeal and frequently stir so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pot. Cook until thick and creamy, for about 7-8 minutes. The longer you cook, the thicker and creamier it becomes.
  3. Transfer the oatmeal to a bowl. Let cool, and add your favorite topping. Enjoy!

  • 1 tablespoon Market Basket almond butter

Instructions:

  1. Combine the almond milk, spices, vanilla, and maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a simmer.
